Transforming a former municipal office building into a school building is not daily. Yet that was exactly the process that Het Stedelijk in Enschede went through.

To get the job done, Het Stedelijk engaged the architectural firm Atelier PRO through a tender for the design, color advice and fixed furnishings. The loose furnishings were also put out to tender. This was awarded to Bureau vandervorm, partly because of its extensive experience in furnishing schools.
